First to the kinky guy following my brand spanking new blog, wow and thank you. To create a new blog and find myself with someone open and out there following me was very touching.
I have 2 people that immediately go from Facebook to this blog so for them as well I am done posting at least for now.
Why?
It is a lot of work and I can't really do what I want to here. I also want to earn money writing about these themes which would mean a high volume of postings as in a lot of work and looking for sponsors and I don't have time.
I had a nightmarish experience with Google Ad Words way back and they did not make amends. I wasn't going to sue them but it proved they were not set up to work with erotic and non-fiction writers not in the porn industry. I believe Google Ad Words mishap, Google's fault although they did nothing except say oops sorry, damaged a relationship with a paying employer (major presence online) I had signed a contract with.
I was deeply honored that Tera Patrick and Belladonna or whom ever runs their Facebook pages picked me up write or should I say right away. I thought about removing this blog completely but for that reason alone I am keeping it up. Ditto for the Germaine Greer Facebook page and Betty Dodson who really was and is a dynamo radically changing and empowering women sexually. She did something unique that no sex toy manufacturer ever did and that was create something to strengthen kegel muscles that also happen to give you sexual pleasure.
I met the owner of Jimmy Jane and his rep. and asked them to please start designing toys that will strengthen our muscles as well as give us pleasure. He nodded and his eyes glazed over. The rep. had promised to send me their newest toy because of the review I wrote and FYI, Jimmy Jane did not keep their promise. Do you think I am going to rush out and buy any Jimmy Jane products any time soon?
Also note: it is about relaxing muscles as much as strengthening them. I have seen many people rip Betty Dodson off on lots of levels but truly Betty Dodson did work educating and empowering women like no one else and they women that ripped off her work missed the mark. Isn't that always the case. One group of women actually marketed a rip-off of Betty's Barbell and stop carrying Betty's Barbell in their store. Today the rip-off is gone and Betty' Barbell is back.
I also use to submit my writing both fiction and non-fiction to women editors for book publication and I don't anymore. I have been published on line but have yet to make it in to the books. I also made it a point of never buying any books these women edit ever again. I realized I did not want to support their choices since their choice included excluding me. There was one exception, an amazing woman who did give me help when I asked her for help with an online project. Can I tell you I once defended a woman who ended up rejecting every submission of mine. A brief lover of mine told me he is her friend. I wanted to vomit. Is there a way to take back standing up for someone? I can't help but think I defended a vapid empty headed girl-woman who happen to be in the right place a the right time or knew someone. How ironic I would get together with someone who considers her a friend. It is also about networking and I just don't.
Is it because I am not gay, bi., because I am the real deal but have never done porno, dancing, etc.?
I don't fit into any group. As Kermit the Frog says it isn't easy being green. But it is all about groups isn't it?
I have found nothing upsets people more than authenticity. There are a lot of people out there that are posers. They got what they got because of who they know and who they blow. I have never dated anyone or did anything sexually with anyone to help my career. Does that mean I have a low sexual IQ?
I met two women that wrote books that are empowering who were in the industry and one still is . There books were the real deal and smart but real life contact with them made me want to have no contact with them. I threw away their books.
I would like to get my work of fiction and non-fiction in a series of books at some point. I have to laugh because everyone on the planet seems to have published a book except for me.
Authenticity is beautiful and exciting.
